Yummy Cocoa Fro-yo

This decadent spring dessert is made with fat-free yogurt so that you can enjoy the benefits of BeautyScoop for gorgeous skin, hair, and nails, in a rich-tasting, chocolate-y treat without any guilt!

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1 cup of Stonyfield Farm organic fat-free chocolate yogurt
shaved dark chocolate (anti-oxidant benefits, but maximum one square!) for topping
dash of cinnamon

Preparation:

Mix together the yogurt with the scoop of BeautyScoop®. Let chill in the freezer for one hour.Serve in a glass, topped with chocolate shavings and a light dusting of cinnamon. Enjoy!

Winter Sunshine Smoothie

This scrumptious smoothie is loaded with fruits to give you the boost that you need to beat the mid-winter blues! Grab some sunshine, vitamin C, and sweetness with this delectable combination of strawberries, oranges, and pears!

Ingredients
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1/2 cup ice
1 ripe Bartlett pear, peeled, cored and cubed
3 large organic strawberries, halved
1 juice orange
2/3 cup vanilla fat-free yogurt

Preparation:

Blend pear, strawberries, and ice in blender until nearly smooth. Squeeze orange juice into the mix, taking care to keep seeds out of blender Add yogurt and BeautyScoop® . Blend until completely smooth.Enjoy!

Makes 2 smoothies.

Steel-Cut Beauty Oats

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1/2 cup McCann's Irish 5 minute steel-cut oats
12 oz. water
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup organic unsweetened applesauce
cinnamon and nutmeg, to taste
1/2 organic fuji apple, peeled and finely diced
1/4 cup almonds

Preparation:

n a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add oats and simmer for 5 minutes. Combine brown sugar, applesauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix into the oatmeal. Remove from heat, cover and let sit for 2 minutes. Stir in BeautyScoop®. Top with almonds and apple, and enjoy!

Makes two servings

Steel-Cut Beauty Oats - Healthy Oatmeal Porridge

Cinna-YUM Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1 cup nonfat milk
1 cup unsweetened cocoa
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 oz. dark chocolate, finely chopped
1 stick cinnamon
whipped cream (optional)

Preparation:

Add milk and cinnamon stick to saucepan. Heat to simmering over medium heat.Whisk in cocoa, sugar, and dark chocolate. Heat mixture 3 minutes or until chocolate melts, stirring occasionally. Pour into warm mugs. Stir in BeautyScoop® until smooth, and serve immediately.Optional: top with fresh whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.

Makes approx. 2 small mugs of hot chocolate.

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
3 tbsp. organic agave nectar
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. finely grated ginger
1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
8 oz. brewed and cooled chamomile or mint tea

Preparation:

Mix tea, lemon juice, vinegar, and agave together. Whisk in BeautyScoop®. Add ginger and shake thoroughly in shaker. Strain, chill, and add ice to serve. Pptional Variations: Add 1/2 shot of gin to get the beauty party started!

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/3 cup canned pumpkin, chilled
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
splash of fresh orange juice

Preparation:

Add yogurt, pumpkin, banana, and orange juice in a blender and blend until smooth. Add in cinnamon, nutmeg, BeautyScoop®, and ice, if desired. Blend until everything is mixed together uniformly. Pour into a glass and top with a dash of ground cinnamon. Enjoy!

The Grape Goodness Beauty Cocktail

Ingredients:
8 seedless organic red grapes
1-1/2 ounces organic white grape juice
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 ounces vodka (or about 1 shot)
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1-3 ounces soda water, to taste

Preparation:

Muddle grapes in the bottom of a shaker. Add in ice, grape juice, lemon juice and vodka. Shake vigorously. Add BeautyScoop®, stir thoroughly, and shake again.Strain over a glass with ice, and top off with soda water to taste. Garnish with extra grapes. Enjoy!

Refreshing Basil Beauty Lemon Shake

Ingredients:
2 fresh lemons
1/4 cup lemon sorbet
1/8 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup skim milk
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil (set aside one leaf for garnish-optional)
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
crushed ice

Preparation:

Finely grate 1 lemon and set aside grated peel. Juice both lemons. Set aside juice and discard lemons. Place sorbet, yogurt, milk, basil, lemon juice, and lemon peel in blender and blend for 2 minutes. Add packet of BeautyScoop® and ice and blend until smooth. Pour and garnish with whole basil leaf. Enjoy!

Yield: 1 smoothie

Refreshing Basil Beauty Lemon Shake<

Mouthwatering Multiberry Health Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
2 oz. sliced organic strawberries
2 oz. organic blueberries
2 oz. organic blackberries
1/4 organic kiwifruit
2 oz. organic mango or cantaloupe
1 Tbsp. plain nonfat yogurt
1 tsp. ground flax seed or oil
2 Tbsp. honey wheat germ
1/4 tsp vanilla

Preparation:

Place all fruit into a blender for 1 minute. Add yogurt, flax seed, wheat germ, and vanilla. Blend for an additional minute. Add packet of BeautyScoop® and 3 ice cubes and blend until smooth. Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy!

Luscious Lemon, Lime and Lychee Liquor Potion

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
4 fresh lychees, pitted or 4 canned lychees with 1/2 tbsp syrup
1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
2 1/2 tbsp citrus flavored vodka
1 cup ice

Preparation:

Combine lychees, lime juice, lemon juice, vodka, BeautyScoop® and ice in the blender. Puree until thick and smooth. Serve in a tall pilsner glass. Slurp it up in sheer delight.

Honey Banana Cinnamon Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1 small banana, peeled
1 teaspoon butter
1 1/2 teaspoon of light brown sugar
1/8 cup orange juice
pinch ground cinnamon
4 oz. non-fat Greek yogurt
amber honey
ice (optional)

Preparation:

Put the bananas into 1/4 inch discs. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar and lay banana slices on top. Cook undisturbed for 20 seconds. Add orange juice and cinnamon. Cook for 10 seconds, then turn bananas carefully and cook for an additional 45-60 seconds, basting with the pan sauce. Place half of the Greek yogurt into a parfait dish and layer with half a packet of BeautyScoop®. Drizzle honey over the BeautyScoop® and add the remainder of the yogurt. Drizzle with honey and add the remainder of the BeautyScoop®. Spoon the banana mixture on top and drizzle sauce on top.Serve (and enjoy) immediately!

Strawberry Rhubarb Spring Beauty Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
1/2 cup fresh or frozen rhubarb, diced
1/2 cup fresh organic strawberries
1/4 cup plain non-fat organic yogurt
1/2 cup of organic non-fat milk
1 tsp honey or raw agave nectar
ice (optional)

Preparation:

Place rhubarb, strawberries and honey/agave into a saucepan and cook on low heat until soft (about 20 minutes). Remove from heat and refrigerate until cool.Combine fruit, yogurt, milk and honey/agave in the blender and blend at HIGH speed until smooth (about 30 seconds). Add BeautyScoop® (and ice) and blend for an additional minute. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Makes two 5 ounce servings.

Preparation:

Combine BeautyScoop® and all ingredients in a 5-cup blender container. Cover and blend at HIGH speed until smooth (40 to 50 seconds). Garnish with strawberry.Serve immediately.

1 scoop whey protein
1 tablespoon honey

6 ounces filtered water

Preparation:

Combine BeautyScoop® and whey protein with 6 ounces of cool filtered water. Place into a blender and blend until smooth. Add peanut butter, honey and ice and blend for 2 minutes. Pour into a glass, serve and enjoy!

New Year's Melon 'Ball Drop' Martini

Ingredients:
2 oz of Midori melon liqueur
1 oz Skyy Infusions Citrus vodka
1/2 oz elderflower liqueur
juice of 1/2 lemon
cane sugar for rimming
melon ball for garnish
1 packet of BeautyScoop®
ice

Preparation:

Rim a chilled cocktail glass with sugar. Pour the liquids into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well.Add one packet of BeautyScoop® and shake until blended. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a melon ball and serve.

New Year's Melon 'Ball Drop' Martini

Cranberry Almond Granola & Yogurt Beauty Parfait

Ingredients:
1 cups old-fashioned oats
1/6 cup slivered almonds
1/6 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1/6 candied pecan halves
1/6 cup concentrated cranberry juice
1/6 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
vegetable oil spray
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries
8 oz. organic nonfat Greek yogurt
1 packet of BeautyScoop®

Preparation of Granola:

Preheat oven to 325°F. Place oats, almonds, coconut and pecans into a large bowl. Combine cranberry juice, brown sugar, a few pumps of vegetable oil spray in a medium saucepan. Blend in cinnamon and allspice and bring to boil, whisking until sugar dissolves. Pour hot syrup over oat mixture and stir to coat evenly. Spread mixture out on large rimmed nonstick baking sheet. Bake at 325°F until golden brown at edges, about 20 minutes. Add cranberries and use metal spatula to blend, stirring until dry (about 12 minutes). Cool completely on baking sheet and store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

Preparation of Parfait:

Add 1 packet of BeautyScoop® to yogurt in a blender. Cover and blend for 30 seconds. In a glass, layer the yogurt and granola. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Spice and Looking So Nice!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup apple cider
1/4 cup canned organic pumpkin
1/4 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1/8 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 packet of BeautyScoop®

Preparation:

Add apple cider, pumpkin, yogurt, coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla to blender container. Cover and blend until smooth. Add 1 packet of BeautyScoop® and blend for 30 seconds. Add ice and blend/grind until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve and enjoy!

Makes 4 servings (5 ounces each).

Tip: Plain yogurt offers a tart, bright flavor to this smoothie. If you prefer a sweeter version, you can use vanilla yogurt instead, or add a little more maple syrup.

Pumpkin Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large sprig fresh rosemary
1/2 scoop BeautyScoop®, Vanilla Crème Flavor
3/4 oz. Dish D'Lish Red Sangria Mix Cocktailor*
3/4 oz. Purity Vodka - or other organic vodka
2 oz red wine, such as a Syrah or Merlot
Garnish: fresh rosemary sprig and berry if desired
ice

Preparation:

Bend and drop fresh rosemary into a cocktail shaker. Carefully measure BeautyScoop®, Dish D'Lish Red Sangria Mix, vodka and red wine into the shaker. Fill to the top with ice. Cap and shake vigorously until powder is fully incorporated. Strain cocktail into a tall glass or wine glass filled with ice. Garnish a sprig of fresh rosemary and berry if desired.Serve and enjoy!

Lime in the Coconut

Ingredients:
6 oz. coconut water
2 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
1 scoop of BeautyScoop®
5 leaves of Thai basil
ice

Preparation:

In a shaker, 3/4 filled with ice, combine all ingredients. Shake well and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with sprig of Thai basil.Serve and enjoy!

Here is an easy addition to the 'lime in the coconut':
***Add 1 small bottle of Hendricks gin (50ml) or Bombay Sapphire gin (50ml) and follow all the same instructions.

NYCe Melons - Delightful Sorbet

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup agave syrup
zest of 1 lemon
4 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 tbsp grenadine
4 mint leaves
4 scoops BeautyScoop®
1 (3 lb) seedless watermelon

Preparation:

In a small saucepan, bring sugar, agave syrup, lemon juice, grenadine, lemon zest and mint leaves to a boil. Dissolve the sugar granules. Let cool slightly. Remove the rind from the watermelon and cut into chunks. Puree half of the chopped watermelon in a blender. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a large glass bowl. Repeat with the remaining watermelon.Add slightly cooled syrup mixture and BeautyScoop®. Mix well to incorporate. Place sorbet into a 2-quart plastic container and freeze for 3-4 hours. Remove and let stand for 5-10 minutes to soften. Scoop and serve!

Serves 8.

NYCe Melons - Delightful Sorbet  - Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Lush Cherry Slush

Ingredients:
2 cups pitted dark, sweet cherries
6 ounces apple juice
2 cherries for garnish
1/2 lime, juiced
10 ice cubes
1 packet/scoop of BeautyScoop®

Preparation:

Pit up to four cherries at a time in a single motion with a cherry pitter like the one from Sur-Le-Table Place apple juice, lime juice and one packet of BeautyScoop® into a blender. Puree until smooth. Add ice and grate until slushy. Pour into a glasses, garnish and serve.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup pureed organic strawberries (fresh ripe, or frozen)
1 cup Casa Noble organic tequila
2 limes, juiced
splash Triple Sec
splash simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves, then cooled)
8-10 ice cubes
1 packet/scoop of BeautyScoop®

Preparation:

Combine in a blender, ice, strawberries, tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec and simple syrup. Puree until smooth. Add 1 packet/scoop BeautyScoop® and blend for an additional minute. Pour into a glasses and serve.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Ingredients:
4 oz. organic whole milk
4 oz. seltzer from newly opened bottle
3 Tbsp. Fox's U-bet Chocolate Syrup

Preparation:

Add BeautyScoop® to milk and mix thoroughly. Pour into a glass and add chocolate syrup. No additional mixing is necessary. Add seltzer and drink immediately!

2 mint leaves (optional)

Preparation:

1/2 ounce Malibu Strawberry Rum

2 mint leaves (optional)
orange skin (optional)

Preparation:

Combine mango rum, strawberry rum, Chambord and pomegranate juice in the blender. Add BeautyScoop® and blend. Add ice and blend until smooth. Float a fresh mint leaf and hang a twist of orange peel for garnish!

RAGING BEAUTY - beauty drink using fresh fruit and liqueur

GET GORGEOUS WITH THE GUILTLESS LOWFAT EGGNOG

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1 egg
4 egg whites
1 1/2 cups fat free milk
1 1/2 cups fat free half-and-half
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 packets of BeautyScoop®
1/4 cup rum, cognac or brandy (optional)
freshly grated nutmeg to garnish

Preparation:

Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. Add egg and egg whites, and beat with a mixer for 3-4 minutes. ently heat fat free milk in a large saucepan. Gradually stir egg mixture into the hot milk. Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is slightly thickened. Stir in vanilla extract and remove from heat. Let the milk and egg mixture cool a little before blending with fat-free half-and-half milk and 2 packets of BeautyScoop®. Cover and chill in the refrigerator. Before serving, add rum or brandy if desired and sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg on top.

Ingredients:
2 clementines, peeled
1 orange, peeled and quartered

Preparation:

Put the clementines and orange through a juice extractor. Pour into a blender and add orange-flower water and one packet of BeautyScoop®. Blend for 2 minutes. Pour into a glass and enjoy. (ice is optional)

WARM FALL APPLE-PUMPKIN CIDER

Ingredients:
6 ounces apple cider
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/2 ounce of Rum or Calvados (optional)

Preparation:

In a small sauce pan, warm apple cider (with or without Rum or Calvados) until it is hot but not boiling. Remove from heat. Add pumpkin pie spice and BeautyScoop® and whisk together until blended. Pour into a mug, curl up by the fire and enjoy a good book during your beauty break!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup ripe cantaloupe cut into cubes
1/4 cup sliced strawberries
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 of a small kiwi
1/4 cup mango
1 tablespoon plain non-fat yogurt
1 teaspoon ground flax seed or oil
2 teaspoons plain or honey wheat germ
1 packet BeautyScoop®
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

Place all fruit into the blender for 1 minute. Add yogurt, flax seed, wheat germ and vanilla. Blend for an additional minute. Add 1 packet of BeautyScoop® and 3 ice cubes and blend until smooth.

SUMMERTIME OLD-FASHIONED PEACH MELBA SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:
- for the coulis
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey or agave nectar
- for the smoothie
2 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and quartered
1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/4 cup low fat milk
3 ice cubes
1 packet of BeautyScoop®

Preparation:

Place the coulis ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Pour through mesh strainer (to remove seeds) and set aside. Don't wash the blender as it will give the peach smoothie a lovely pink color. Place the smoothie ingredients into the blender and blend for 1 minute or until smooth. Pour into a large bowl, swirl in the raspberry coulis, then pour into a glass and serve. Garnish with a fresh raspberry or two if you like!

FROZEN CUCUMBER AND MINT “EYE OPENER”

Ingredients:
1/4 cup peeled cucumber
4 mint leaves, washed and dried
1/4 cup white grape juice
6 ice cubes
1 packet of BeautyScoop®

Preparation:

Put the cucumber, mint and grape juice in the blender and blend for 30 seconds. Add ice and blend for an additional 30 seconds. Add 1 packet of BeautyScoop® and blend for an additional minute. Pour into a glass, garnish with a mint leaf, grape and cucumber slice on a toothpick and drink immediately! Refreshing!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 cup of lowfat milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground flaxseed
1/4 cup blueberris

Preparation:

Mix together oatmeal, cinnamon and flaxseed. Add milk and stir. Place mixture in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 2 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup blueberries and 1 packet of BeautyScoop®. Stir well. Transfer to a bowl and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1/2 ripe peeled banana
6 ounces non-fat milk (may substitute soy, rice or almond milk)
2 Tablespoons of Ovaltine RIch Chocolate Granules
1 packet BeautyScoop®
4 ice cubes

Preparation:

Place the ice cubes, milk and banana into the blender and grind/blend for 1 minute. Add two tablespoons of Ovaltine Rich Chocolate granules and BeautyScoop® blend for an additional 1 minute. Pour into a glass and serve immediately! To keep the spirit of the season, add 2 tbsp. of Godiva Chocolate Liquor to the other ingredients with the first blending!

DECADENT WINTER GINGERBREAD & PEAR SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:
1 ripe pear, peeled, cored and quartered
1 1/4 cups ginger ice cream
3 tbsp. heavy cream

2 gingerbread cookies, crumbled

Preparation:

Place all the ingredients except the ginger cookies into a blender and blend for 1 minute. Add 1 packet of BeautyScoop® into the blender and blend for an additional 1 minute. Pour into a glass and top with crumbled cookies. Serve immediately! For a BOOZY treat, add 2 tbsp. of Poire William to the other ingredients before blending!

AUTUMNAL INSPIRATION

Ingredients:
2 apples
2 pears
1 cup blackberries
1 packet BeautyScoop®
ice (optional)

Preparation:

Wash fruit thoroughly. If using a compact juicer, remove skin and core from apples and pears. If using a professional, centrifugal juice extractor, there is no need to remove skin or seeds. The skin, pulp and seeds will be removed automatically by the machine. Empty 1 packet of BeautyScoop® into 6-8 ounces of fresh juice and mix well. Add ice, if desired. Enjoy your beauty infusion within 30 minutes!
